45/270 Compression Fixture This is a 45/270 rotation compression fixture. The operator loads the cushion foam onto the nest and clamps. Trim is placed over the foam and is fastened to the foams a-surface. The foam is then rotated to the angle of the compression nest. The nest extends upward compressing the foam, easily allowing the operator to finish attaching the trim to the underside of the foam. The compression nest retracts and the foam is rotated back to home position and unclamps, thus completing the assembly sequence.
